Meet Ambrosio Hernandez, the Owner and Lead Glazing Specialist for Solo Windows & Doors. Ambrosio began working as a window installer in the residential high-rises and commercial buildings of New York City. During his employment, he came across a glazing contractor that was willing to serve as his mentor and teach him the basics of window and door installation.

 

In 2000, Ambrosio and his family moved to Los Angeles, California where he began to refine his communication skills through daily encounters with his employer's clients while solidifying his experience in cutting, assembling, and installing glass, doors, and windows.

In 2010, he began working independently with clients, specializing in general glazing services, while still committed to his full-time job. At this point, Ambrosio realized that he genuinely enjoyed providing value for his own clientele, managing his own team, and demonstrating honesty and good workmanship throughout Southern California. His desire to continue spreading these values led him to pursue his California Glazing Contractor's license and, hence, the creation of Solo Windows & Doors.

Today, Ambrosio is happily married to his wife, Martha, for 33 years and lives in Glendale, California with his son and two daughters.
